Meet The Designer

Hi! I'm Ana María Márquez, a civil engineer from Barranquilla, Colombia, with a deep passion for handmade art using natural fibers. Ochabe is born from my cultural roots — and inspired by the legacy of my grandmother and great-grandmother, both artisans from a local community. Through this project, I proudly celebrate that heritage while empowering a new generation of talented women artisans across Colombia.
